While I missed the opening night of the Democratic National Convention held in Denver, Colorado, the radio station that I listened to on the way to the train this morning gave a viewer's view of Michelle Obama's night at the Convention. Some said they were so proud, while others compared her to another 1st Lady, Jackie O.

During the months leading up to this night in history, I have observed Michele Obama to be one of poise, elegance, articulate and intelligent, and while I applaud Jackie O's contribution to America, there will never be another Jackie O. As there will never be another Michelle Obama - the first African American woman to stand before the American people at any Democratic Convention as a potential 1st Lady of the United States of America.
