Funny woman, Ellen DeGeneres, 50, and her lovely fiancee of 4 years, actress Portia De Rossi, 35, were married last Saturday on August 16th. The intimate ceremony took place in the couple's Los Angeles home and was attended by 20 of their closest family and friends.
Ellen announced their engagement on her talk show back in May, shortly after the Supreme Court's ruling allowed same sex marriages in the state of California.
The loving couple exchanged vows seated on a bed of pillows, and the ceremony was officiated by author, Wayne Dyer. They each donned Zac Posen wedding ensembles and exchanged rings by Neil Lane. Ambiance was set by Mark's Garden, who embellished their backyard with a delicate mix of candles and flowers.
In true Ellen fashion, she commented to People Magazine, "What can I say? I'm the luckiest girl in the world -- She's officially off the market. No one else gets her. And now she'll cook and clean for me."
All joking aside, we wish the world to the happy couple!!
