Jenna Bush's Wedding
Society Weddings Online Magazine has learned that The White House has officially confirmed by email at 9:28pm EDT, Saturday, May 10, 2008, that President Bush's daughter, Jenna Bush and her long time boyfriend, Henry Hager, had officially married.
The Rev. Kirbyjon Caldwell of Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston, officiated during the ceremony.
The private and closely guarded affair was held at President Bush's 1,600-acre Prairie Ranch in Crawford, Texas. It is said that Jenna and Henry wanted a private affair, so reporters or television cameras were not invited to film the nuptials.
Society Weddings Online Magazine has also learned that Jenna's twin sister, Barbara, was her maid of honor, and the president and bride selected "You are So Beautiful" for their father-daughter dance.
Jenna who is 26, is the 22nd child of a president to get married while their father was in the Oval Office.
The Gown - Jenna wore a matte beaded and embroidery white gown designed by Oscar de la Renta -- she did not wear a veil.
It is said that more than 200 family and friends attended the wedding on the ranch where a tent was erected for the post-ceremony dinner and dance.
Society Weddings Online Magazine extends our congratulations to the bride and groom and their families.
